High-quality Natural Lapis Lazuli stone on sterling silver with with traditional Pueblo symbols.
Joe Chavez gets the Lapis Lazuli in rough form directly from the miners of Lapis. He does all the lapidary stone work first before they are designed in a pair of earrings. So each piece is, cut, shaped and different steps of sanding and polishing before he make them into his wearable art pieces. On the sterling silver he cuts out these intricate symbols using only a jewelers coping saw. No lazer cutting here!. Traditional Pueblo "Kiva steps and Raincloud" symbols adorn these earrings. Signed on the reverse side of each earring with Joe Chavez makers mark and sterling stamp.
