Joe Chavez of Santo Domingo Pueblo is known for his unique REIMAGINED version of the old Santo Domingo Pueblo Thunderbird designs. Joe Chavez designs and makes his version in Overlay sterling silver designing with traditional Pueblo symbols. This Thunderbird is in the high polish, patina inside the symbols and textured. Vintage Natural Carico Lake turquoise in the center. Joe has had this turquoise in his collection for years. Shepard hook on the reverse side, so you can hook it onto your favorite necklace or silver bead necklace. Signed on the reverse side as well with Joe Chavez makers mark and sterling stamp.
