CHACO SERIES COLLECTION- I took these old round shells and Inlaid them with crushed turquoise.  I kept the natural shape of the abalone shells and drilled large holes in them the way my ancestors drilled large holes in shells. I connected the shells together with sterling silver wire. I handmade the sterling silver ear wires with beadshots as well. This piece has an organic look and that was my intent in designing these earrings.  I wanted them to have an old feel and look. I'm happy with the results.
